JDK 25.0.5 は Oracle の重要パッチ更新（CPU）に含まれる脆弱性修正を含む版である。TLS 1.3 で耐量子ハイブリッド鍵交換（X25519MLKEM768 など）が使えるようになり、Symantec・Entrust・Camerfirma 系の TLS サーバー証明書は全面的に不信頼となった。HttpServer は Host ヘッダー検証を追加し、JAXP の TemplatesImpl の逆シリアル化は既定で無効になった。
