Windows 8.1 サポートが廃止され、内部パス構成が変更された。Git v2.56.0 へのアップグレードに伴い、4GB 以上のオブジェクトのコミットに対応し、前バージョンのインストーラーバグや並列チェックアウト、vim の不具合など複数のバグが修正された。
