Brotli ライブラリの範囲外書き込みの脆弱性 CVE-2026-111497 を修正する緊急のセキュリティ更新である。悪意ある圧縮データの処理により、サービス拒否、情報漏えい、権限昇格のおそれがある。あわせて Linux 版 tarball のファイル所有権の誤りと、CVE-2026-70197（SocketAsyncEventArgs のメモリ破損）の修正を再公開した。

We are releasing an out-of-band (OOB) security update to address CVE-2026-111497, a vulnerability in the Brotli library used by .NET and ASP.NET Core. Processing maliciously crafted compressed data could result in denial of service, information disclosure, or elevation of privilege.
